A 25 Point Day – At the Movies!

Leave a comment Standard

I love the movies.  I don’t go near as much as I used to, but there are certain movies that just must been seen at the theater.

The Avengers being one of them.

There are certain things that when I see the Smartpoint values I say no way.

Movie popcorn is not one of them.  It is my ultimate guilty treat.  At least I don’t do the buttery topping, so there’s that.  A medium popcorn without the topping is a whopping 15 Smartpoints.

So what’s a Weight Watcher to do?

PLAN.

Breakfast:  2 Smartpoints

2 Hard Boiled Eggs:  0 Smartpoints
Premier Protein drink (for coffee):  2 Smartpoints

Snack: 1 Smartpointsnack

Apple:  0 Smartpoints

Mini Babybell Light Cheese Round:  1 Smartpoint

Lunch:  3 Smartpoints

Salad with Grilled Chicken, Tomatoes, Carrots, Celery, and Red Onion: 0 Smartpoints
4 TBS Bolthouse Farms Classic Balsamic:  3 Smartpoints

Dinner: 6 Smartpoints

pizza

Veggie Pizza with Tumaro Crust: 6 Smartpoints

Snack:  15 Smartpoints

amc

Medium Movie Popcorn:  15 Smartpoints

Okay, even I think that is a bit janky and should be more but it’s what the WW App says it is so I’m going with it.  The site says it’s 500 calories so that amount of Smartpoints should cover it.

Total for the day:  27 Smartpoints.  I used 2 weeklies.  Not bad!  I know it’s not the healthiest day in the world, but I’m glad I am on a program where I can still have the things I love and not turn back into a tank ass!

I’m going to be honest with y’all.  I’m STILL trying to figure this whole Freestyle stuff out.  I think it would have been a lot easier to start with it than to switch to it after goal.  I’ve got a post about all that coming later this week, so stay tuned!
